We're seeking 1 skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to become a part of our team. The successful candidate will have experience servicing and maintaining ice machines, HVAC units, plumbing, some electrical, pool chemical experience, sheet rock, painting. Must always have one eye on safety. The ideal candidate will not only have a strong familiarity with the fundamentals of building/pool maintenance, but also possess a team-oriented work ethic and be proficient with a variety of protective equipment. Must be able to demonstrate your skills in interview. The ideal person for these positions will be able to work independently, must be able to handle up to 3 projects at a time, retain bids from vendors, be on call, work weekends when needed, work evenings (very rarely) and have good follow up. Must be able to start and restart projects due to interuptions.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain equipment used in the repair of company facilities.
- Perform tasks under pressure to meet guest needs.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and customers.
- Be teach-able and able to work as a team.
- Be able to problem solve and trouble shoot.
- Must be ok with updating the General Manager daily on tasks.
- Must be ok with change happening quickly based on the occupancy of the hotel along with ownership precense.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
