Lucky Spot Barbershop is seeking a Lead Barber / Location Lead for our Greensboro location.
This opportunity is for an experienced, professional barber who wants more than just a chair. We are looking for someone who can produce behind the chair, lead by example, help develop a strong team, and play an important role in growing the Greensboro location.
COMPENSATION
70% Commission
This is a working leadership position. You will continue servicing and growing your clientele while helping lead the day-to-day culture and performance of the shop.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide high-quality barbering services• Deliver a premium client experience• Lead by example in professionalism, punctuality, appearance, and work ethic• Maintain an open and accurate schedule• Be available to service new clients and walk-ins• Help maintain a clean, organized, professional shop environment• Support and develop other barbers• Help onboard new team members• Support recruiting efforts• Promote client retention and rebooking• Help increase service count and average ticket• Assist with day-to-day shop operations• Identify operational issues and help solve them• Communicate shop needs and opportunities to ownership and leadership• Help establish and maintain a high-performance culture

The ideal candidate is:
- Currently licensed to barber in North Carolina• Skilled and confident behind the chair• Dependable and punctual• Professional in appearance and communication• Strong with customer service• Comfortable taking initiative• Coachable and accountable• Able to lead without constant supervision• Team-oriented• Interested in developing other barbers• Motivated to grow their clientele and income• Interested in leadership, business, and future ownership opportunities
Previous management experience is preferred but not required. Leadership potential, consistency, professionalism, production, and character matter more than having a management title.

REQUIREMENTS
- Current North Carolina barber license• Professional barbering experience preferred• Strong barbering and customer-service skills• Reliable transportation• Dependable attendance and punctuality• Professional appearance and communication• Availability during high-demand business hours, including weekends• Ability to work independently while maintaining Lucky Spot standards
