As our company continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated, design-minded professional to join our team as a Kitchen Design & Sales Consultant.
Position Summary
This is an outstanding opportunity for a sales-driven professional with an eye for design to build a rewarding career in the kitchen remodeling industry.
You will work directly with homeowners, guiding them through the entire design and sales process, from the initial consultation and measurements to presenting design solutions and closing projects.
Keane Kitchens provides qualified leads and scheduled appointments, allowing you to focus on meeting homeowners, designing beautiful kitchens, and closing sales. No cold calling or prospecting required.
Responsibilities
Sales & Client Consultations
- Meet with homeowners to understand their needs, goals, and budget.
- Conduct in-home and showroom consultations.
- Present kitchen remodeling, cabinet refacing, and cabinetry solutions.
- Create and present project proposals.
- Follow up with prospective clients and maintain an active sales pipeline.
- Close sales and consistently achieve performance goals.
Kitchen Design
- Help clients select cabinet styles, finishes, colors, hardware, countertops, and other design features.
- Create functional and attractive kitchen layouts.
- Take accurate field measurements and assess project requirements.
- Develop design concepts that align with customer goals and budgets.
- Collaborate with homeowners to bring their vision to life.
Estimating & Project Development
- Prepare accurate project estimates and pricing proposals.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal team members as needed.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, contracts, and customer communications.
Customer Experience
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and design consultant.
- Address customer questions and concerns professionally.
- Help ensure a smooth project experience from consultation through completion.
Qualifications
Required
- Experience in kitchen and bath sales, cabinetry sales, remodeling sales, interior design, or a related field.
- Knowledge of kitchen cabinetry, materials, measurements, and layout principles.
- Experience preparing estimates and proposals.
- Strong sales skills with the confidence to ask for and close the sale.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Preferred
- Experience with design software such as 2020 Design, SketchUp, Chief Architect, KCD, or similar programs.
- Experience in kitchen remodeling, construction, or home improvement sales.
- Interior design or space-planning experience.

Compensation & Benefits
- $60,000 - $120,000 per year.
- Base Salary + Uncapped Commission.

Schedule
- Full-time.
- Monday through Friday.
- 8-hour shift.
- Occasional evenings or weekends based on customer appointments.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to commute to San Mateo, CA.
- Ability to travel to client appointments throughout the Bay Area.
