Job Title: RN Pediatric Clinical Supervisor – Flexible Part-Time (No Weekends)
Pay: $40–$42 per hour

Overview:
Nurses and More is seeking a compassionate and experienced RN Pediatric Clinical Supervisor to support medically fragile students in a school-based pediatric nursing program. This flexible part-time role blends clinical leadership with autonomy, work-life balance, and meaningful impact—without the stress of hospital shifts.
You will oversee a caseload of 15–20 pediatric clients, complete clinical assessments, mentor field nurses, and ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing care.
Key Responsibilities:

Complete initial and ongoing pediatric assessments and update individualized care plans

Conduct field supervision visits and recertification case conferences

Oversee nursing documentation, including completing and updating 485s

Train, mentor, and support field nurses on pediatric care protocols

Ensure safe care delivery including trach care, G-tube feedings, and seizure management
-
Communicate effectively with families, school staff, and healthcare partners

Support quality improvement efforts and ensure adherence to the Plan of Care

Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation
Light Clinical Requirements

Strong clinical judgment when evaluating medically fragile or complex pediatric clients

Ability to educate families/caregivers on safe care practices

Experience monitoring vital signs and recognizing changes in condition

Familiarity with electronic documentation and maintaining compliant records

Comfortable supporting children with chronic conditions or developmental disabilities
Qualifications (Home Care Required):

Active Compact RN License (NC & SC required)

Minimum 1 year home care nursing experience (MANDATORY)

Minimum 2 years supervisory, charge nurse, or nurse leadership experience

Minimum 1 year pediatric nursing experience (home care, school nursing, outpatient pediatrics, or acute pediatrics)

Hands-on experience with trach care, G-tube feeding, and seizure management

Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills

Ability to work independently and support field nursing staff
(Preferred but not required: PALS, EMR/EHR experience)
