Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Epic Consultant to serve as the primary lead for business analysis and project management across a specialty pharmacy portfolio. This role focuses on optimizing workflows and driving data integration between Epic and external systems, including data lakes and third-party analytics platforms. The Epic Consultant will evaluate existing processes, reports, and data to identify opportunities for improvement — and then execute on them. Knowledge of custom Chronicles extracts and INI + Item Numbers is important in this role.
This is a high-growth role with a potential path toward team leadership and the opportunity to help build out an internal Epic practice from the ground up. The ideal candidate is analytically minded, comfortable taking initiative, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead optimization initiatives and implement changes to processes, methods, and services that drive measurable efficiency gains
- Gather input from cross-functional stakeholders to map current-state workflows and identify gaps and opportunities
- Collaborate with a small, results-driven team to keep projects on track against both near-term milestones and longer-term strategic goals
- Build strong partnerships across business units and foster alignment throughout the organization
- Synthesize data and insights from multiple platforms to support decision-making and surface actionable findings
- Define, monitor, and report on KPIs tied to specific engagement objectives
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and training to teammates throughout project engagements
- Develop clear, compelling presentation materials; drive meeting follow-ups and translate discussions into concrete next steps and deliverables
Qualifications
- 3+ years of Epic experience in a role such as Technical Solutions Engineer, Technical Services Engineer, Project Manager, or Analyst
- Hands-on experience with Epic Willow Specialty Pharmacy or Compass Rose
- Demonstrated experience supporting or leading data integration efforts between Epic and external platforms (data lakes, data warehouses, third-party analytics tools) such as knowledge of custom Chronicles extracts and INI + Item Numbers
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
