What You’ll Do
- Greet every guest with warmth, confidence, and presence
- Open doors, make eye contact, and acknowledge guests immediately
- Manage the waitlist with accuracy, honesty, and professionalism
- Seat guests strategically to balance the flow of service
- Communicate clearly with servers, managers, and kitchen to maintain rhythm
- Provide menus and set clear expectations for the experience
- Stay aware of the dining room, adjusting seating and pacing in real time
- Handle phone calls, reservations, and guest inquiries professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entryway
- Check restrooms and guest-facing areas to ensure they reflect our standards
- Thank every guest sincerely as they leave and invite them back

Responsibilities (Core Execution)
- Welcome and seat guests efficiently and thoughtfully
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and table rotation
- Communicate wait times clearly and accurately
- Coordinate with the service team to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain cleanliness of entryway, lobby, and restrooms
- Answer phones and assist with guest questions or to-go orders
- Support servers, bussers, and managers as needed
- Assist in maintaining overall restaurant readiness and flow
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to improvement
