Welder / Fabricator – Structural & Misc. Steel
We’re looking for a skilled Welder/Fabricator who takes pride in clean work, solid welds, and getting the job done right the first time. If you’re someone who can read prints, fit accurately, and weld with confidence, you’ll fit in well here.
This is a hands-on shop role working on structural and miscellaneous steel projects—columns, beams, stairs, rails, and custom components. You’ll be part of a team that values quality, efficiency, and accountability.
What You’ll Do
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and measurements
- Layout, fit, and weld structural and misc. steel components
- Perform MIG/Flux-core/Stick welding (adjust based on your shop)
- Work on a variety of projects including beams, columns, stairs, and rails
- Inspect your own work to ensure accuracy and quality
- Operate shop equipment safely and efficiently (saws, ironworkers, etc.)
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all shop safety standards
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of welding/fabrication experience (structural preferred)
- Ability to read and work from blueprints without constant supervision
- Strong fitting skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable welding in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
- Reliable, consistent, and takes ownership of their work
- Welding certification is a plus, not a must if your skills back it up
