We are hiring a Chief Financial Officer to lead accounting, financial reporting, and finance strategy from our downtown Lake Oswego office. This is a senior, hands-on executive seat: you'll own the close, the controls, and the reporting ownership relies on - and lead the team that delivers it. We welcome candidates form a property management OR a mortgage/lending background.
What you'll do
- Own the full accounting cycle: month-end, quarter close, multi-entity consolidations, and financials
- Deliver timely, accurate reporting to ownership and act as a financial partner to the principal
- Lead, mentor, and develop a senior accounting team - set the standard and raise it
- Oversee cash management, banking and leder relationships, and treasury function
- Bring discipline to the close and translate the numbers into decisions
What you bring
- 10+ years of accounting and finance experience with a strong background in either property management accounting or mortgage/lending - we welcome either
- Proven experience in managing senior-level staff - not just junior reports
- Strong business acumen: you translate financials into clear, actionable guidance for ownership
- Relevant systems experience to your domain (Yardi Voyager, QuickBooks, Nortridge Loan Systems, or similar)
- CPA or relevant degree preferred
