The Boys & Girls Club of the Umpqua Valley is looking for enthusiastic, dependable, and caring individuals to join our team for the upcoming school year. As a Program Staff member, you will help create a safe, positive, and engaging afterschool environment where young people can learn, grow, build friendships, and have fun.
A typical day may include:
- Greeting members and checking them into the Club as they arrive.
- Planning and leading engaging recreational, educational, and enrichment activities.
- Encouraging positive behavior and building meaningful relationships with youth.
- Supervising members to ensure a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment.
- Working as part of a team to provide high quality youth development programs.
Qualifications:
Successful applicants will:
- Have a positive attitude and a passion for working with youth.
- Demonstrate strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Enjoy working as part of a team.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Successfully pass a criminal history background check and pre-employment drug screen.
Experience planning and implementing youth programs or activities is preferred.

Monday-Friday 3-4 hour shifts between the hours of 2:30pm-6:30pm
