Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Senior Accounting Manager specializing in Business Central to lead our accounting operations and ensure financial integrity across our organization. Responsibilities
- Lead the maintenance, and optimization of Business Central accounting software to streamline financial operations.
- Oversee general ledger accounting, balance sheet reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing procedures, including financial report writing and analysis to support internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as SOX controls, IFRS, GAAP, and industry-specific regulations for nonprofit, governmental, and international accounting.
- Conduct detailed cost accounting analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to inform strategic planning.
- Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative environment focused on continuous development.
- Oversee treasury management activities including cash flow analysis, banking relationships, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Perform account reconciliation and account analysis to maintain the integrity of financial data within Business Central and QuickBooks.
- Support internal audits and coordinate external audit processes to ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
- Drive process improvements in financial close processing, accounts reconciliation, and financial reporting workflows using advanced Excel data analysis techniques.
Requirements
- Proven experience and strong references in managing complex accounting functions within a diverse environment.
- Strong technical expertise in accounting systems including Business Central and QuickBooks.
- Extensive knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), SOX controls, regulatory compliance accounting practices.
- Demonstrated ability in managing accounting teams effectively while fostering professional growth.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets for data analysis and financial modeling; experience with Excel data analysis tools is essential.
- Solid understanding of double entry bookkeeping principles along with experience in account reconciliation and account analysis.
- Excellent skills in financial report writing combined with strong analytical capabilities for forecasting and budgeting purposes.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
