Position Summary
Cigar Place is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Order Picker to join our order fulfillment team.
The primary responsibility of this position is to accurately locate, pick, scan, and prepare customer orders for packing and shipment. Candidates should have previous warehouse, order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, or similar experience.
This position requires strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and the ability to maintain accuracy while working at a consistent pace in a high-volume environment.
Handheld scanner experience is preferred but not required. Forklift operation and mechanical experience are not required
Responsibilities
· Follow established order-picking procedures and instructions
· Locate products using shelf locations, item numbers, and descriptions
· Pick and verify the correct products and quantities
· Use a handheld scanner to confirm items and order accuracy
· Assemble completed orders and transport them to the packing area
· Pack, tape, label, weigh, and prepare orders for shipment
· Assist with receiving, sorting, stocking, and putting away products
· Replenish warehouse shelves and picking locations
· Inspect incoming and outgoing products for accuracy or visible damage
· Use carts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other non-powered equipment safely
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
· Assist with inventory counts and product-location checks
· Cross-train in picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and other warehouse functions
· Perform other warehouse duties as assigned
Minimum Requirement
· High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
· Previous warehouse, order-picking, packing, shipping, receiving, fulfillment, stockroom, or inventory experience
· Ability to identify products by item number, description, quantity, and warehouse location
· Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established procedures
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy
· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
· Dependable attendance and punctuality
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
· Must be able to commute reliably to Stuart, Florida 34997
· Must be available for occasional scheduled weekend work, including rotating Sunday shifts of approximately four to five hours
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience using handheld barcode scanners or warehouse scanning systems
· E-commerce or direct-to-consumer order fulfillment experience
· Familiarity with shipping labels, package scales, inventory systems, or carrier shipping systems
Physical Requirements
· Stand and walk on a concrete warehouse floor for up to eight hours per shift
· Frequently bend, reach, twist, squat, and move throughout the warehouse
· Push and pull warehouse carts
· Lift and carry products or packages weighing up to 50 pounds
· Safely use a step stool to reach products at different shelf heights
· Perform repetitive picking, scanning, packing, and labeling tasks
Schedule
· Eight- or nine-hour day shifts
· Monday through Friday
· Occasional weekend shifts (Sunday’s, 4-5 hours) as needed
· In-person work at the Stuart warehouse

Compensation and Workplace
· Starting wage of $17.00 per hour
