Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housekeeping management, ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Duties
- Manage and supervise housekeeping staff, providing training and support to ensure high-quality cleaning standards.
- Oversee residential cleaning operations, including scheduling and assigning tasks to team members.
- Ensure proper sanitization of all areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
- Coordinate carpet cleaning and floor care activities, ensuring the use of appropriate techniques and products.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering as necessary to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Address customer inquiries or complaints regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- Implement best practices for laundry services, ensuring linens are cleaned, pressed, and stored properly.
- Collaborate with other departments such as maintenance and front desk to enhance overall guest experience.
Experience
- Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar role within the hospitality or residential cleaning industry.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment used in housekeeping operations.
- Experience in customer service with the ability to resolve issues effectively.
- Familiarity with hotel operations is a plus but not required.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with staff and guests.
