Position Summary: Set up and operate CNC machines accurately and efficiently while maintaining quality. Learn to setup/operate multiple types of CNC Machines.
Education and Experience
- 5+ years operating CNC mills and lathes.
- Previous, demonstratable experience in setting up CNC equipment for production operations.
- Previous and demonstratable experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.

- Read and interpret drawings to ensure product quality and conformity. Will need to learn and demonstrate understanding of GDMT.
- Set up and operate machines efficiently by following instructions supplied by Engineering and Programming.
- Working with Lead (Engineering and Programming when approved) to improve/ensure accuracy of work instructions and programs.
- Support and assist fellow operators as needed.
- Communicating issues quickly to get problems resolved Including NCR’s (nonconformance parts), paperwork issues, setup and cycle time issues and any other problem preventing the success and completion of current job.
- Following Joined Alloys Quality procedure.
- Keeping area clean, organized and presentable.
- Learning to setup/operate multiple types of CNC machines.
- Conduct accurate checks/measuring of parts and tools to keep job running properly and efficiently. Accurately recording dimensions and filling out related paperwork during machine operation.
- Maintain Posting and Productivity standards.
- Continuous improvement: Seek ways to improve/learn new machining skills and work environment. Ability to complete other tasks/functions as assigned

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
