*Job Overview*
This is a full-time role supporting the Service and Install teams at Schepers’ Lawn Sprinkling in Jenison, MI. The role is primarily customer service, which involves answering phones, coordinating service calls, managing schedules internally and externally, ensuring efficient dispatch of techs and resources for maintenance and repair tasks, and general office administration as needed.
Upon hire, employee would stay on full-time through late November with reduced hours during Dec-Feb based on seasonality of the business. Ideal candidate would be in office from 8am-5pm on Weekdays.
*Responsibilities*
· Provide excellent customer service
· Communicate with customers to determine their needs
· Schedule and dispatch service calls for technicians in collaboration with the Service Coordinator
· Receive check-in calls from technicians and communicate with customers
· Maintain dispatching schedule to ensure maximum efficiency of technicians
· Answer phone calls for installation departments
· Follow up with customers and technicians to help maintain a good workflow and good customer relationships
· General office duties may include filing, sorting, greeting customers, receiving packages, etc.
· Perform a variety of tasks, working under the general direction of the Service Coordinator, Service Manager and General Manager
*Eligibility Requirements*
· High school diploma – additional education a plus
· Previous customer service/dispatching experience
· Previous experience with Service Titan field management software **REQUIRED**
*Skills*
· Professional and courteous telephone etiquette
· Ability to handle a multi-line phone system
· Patience and endurance to manage the front desk and interface with customers and technicians all day
· Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task
· Basic computer skills to include proficiency in Excel, Google Docs, Outlook
· Strong interpersonal skills such as communication, problem solving, and organization
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
