About the Role:
Challenger Pallet is looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team full-time. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining and repairing a variety of industrial equipment, ensuring everything runs flawlessly so we can continue delivering top-quality service.
While experience in mechanical work and welding is a plus, it's not a requirement. We value hands-on experience and a strong willingness to learn, and we provide onsite training to help you succeed in your role.
*This is a Swing Shift position working Monday through Friday 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM*
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and repair industrial machinery, including motors, gearboxes, and belt conveyors

Troubleshoot mechanical issues and ensure minimal downtime

Perform routine preventative maintenance on forklifts and other equipment

Lift up to 50 pounds as part of daily tasks

Collaborate with the team to improve equipment efficiency
Qualifications:

Preferred: 2+ years of mechanical experience (but not required)

Familiarity with motors, gearboxes, and belt conveyors is an advantage

Experience with welding is beneficial

Ability to lift 50 lbs

Forklift experience is a plus

A team player with strong problem-solving skills

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required
SchedulePay:

Full-time, Monday - Friday, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM

Starting pay: $21 - $25 per hour, depending on experience
