We are looking for a proactive and engaged Production Supervisor to oversee the launch and ongoing success of our battery module and pack assembly plant in Mason, Ohio. In this position, you will manage daily manufacturing tasks, guide hourly staff, and facilitate collaboration between departments, all while fostering a culture centered on safety, quality, and constant improvement. We need a leader who excels in a dynamic startup setting and possesses the operational rigor and hands-on problem-solving skills necessary to drive results on the factory floor.
Core Duties-
Oversee and manage the day-to-day manufacturing activities for your designated shift or area.

Mentor, coach, and provide clear guidance to manufacturing technicians and operators to help them succeed.

Foster a workplace environment that prioritizes accountability, clear communication, and team-based operational discipline.

Assist with the onboarding process, training initiatives, and ongoing professional development for staff.

Help maintain a safe working environment and ensure all production output meets established quality standards.

Ensure that all team members follow standardized work instructions and manufacturing protocols.

Track key performance indicators including production volume, efficiency, scrap rates, and equipment downtime.

Identify production or equipment challenges and coordinate with the necessary teams to resolve them quickly.

Collaborate with maintenance, quality, logistics, engineering, and planning departments to streamline daily operations.

Ensure consistent material flow to help maintain uninterrupted production continuity for the entire facility.

Assist in the rollout of new operational changes and process enhancements.

Engage in lean manufacturing projects to drive long-term operational excellence.

Help define and establish effective production workflows and operational standards.

Support the scaling of manufacturing operations as production volumes grow.

Help foster a positive and high-performance manufacturing culture for the entire team.
Required Skills and Qualifications-
Between 3 and 7 years of experience in a manufacturing supervisory or leadership role.

Proven track record of managing hourly personnel within a production setting.

Comprehensive knowledge of quality systems, safety protocols, and general manufacturing operations.

Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize various operational tasks at the same time.

Excellent coaching, leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to make sound decisions and maintain composure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

A hands-on leadership approach with a commitment to being present on the production floor.

Background in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.

Experience in high-volume industries such as automotive, electronics, or battery manufacturing is a plus.
