Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of our apartment community. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and reliable environment by performing a wide range of repair, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance tasks. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, appliances, and other mechanical equipment to ensure continuous operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems using schematics and technical manuals.
- Conduct appliance repairs, including diagnosing issues and replacing faulty components to restore functionality efficiently.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately diagnose problems and execute repairs.
- Assist with construction or renovation projects related to facility upgrades or equipment installation while adhering to safety standards.
- Lead or support team efforts in equipment repair initiatives, ensuring timely resolution of maintenance issues.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance logs for compliance and future reference.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or general mechanical maintenance.
- Knowledge of schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools for troubleshooting complex systems.
- Mechanical aptitude combined with construction experience is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration equipment.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide junior team members or coordinate maintenance projects effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in diagnosing issues quickly and accurately.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining safety standards. Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
