We’re Campfire Coffee, based in Tacoma, WA. A specialty coffee roaster and a passionate advocate for equity in outdoor education and recreation. We run two café locations in Tacoma and we’re growing our team.
We’re looking for a barista who brings great energy, a strong work ethic, and genuine care for the people they serve. Experience behind the bar most definitely helps, but how you show up matters more.
What the role looks like
- Crafting espresso drinks and seasonal menu items with consistency and pride
- Building real connections with customers — many of whom love to talk trails, gear, and adventure as much as coffee
- Contributing to a small, close-knit team that works hard and genuinely enjoys what we do
Flexibility across both café locations
What we’re looking for
- Barista experience preferred
- A great attitude and reliable work ethic
- Warmth with people — this is a community-oriented space
- Love of the outdoors is a big plus — camping, hiking, kayaking, backpacking — though not a dealbreaker if you’re just really good at coffee

Pay: $17.13 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
