POSITION SUMMARY
Working under the direction of the Director – Technical Services & Customer Experience, AP Formulators is seeking a Technical Service Specialist working specifically in outside customer service within the car wash arena. The successful candidate will possess intelligence, empathy, and drive. A genuine love for people and relationship building is a must. A solid understanding of repair work, plumping and electrical, is desirable.
ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Outside customer service rep (places orders for parts and chemicals. communicates with APF CSR staff for deliveries)
- Develop long-lasting relationships as the brand ambassador for APF
- Chemical technician (APF training involved)
- Provide technical support, minor repair and cleaning (APF training involved)
- Communication with customers about work APF performed and issues that need to be addressed by the customer
- Maintain proper usage for all products
- Restock/Logistics coordination weekly (APF Training involved)
- Service reports
- Volumetric testing/correction (APF training involved)
- Product outage diagnosis and documentation
- Shipping collaboration and approval with APF warehouse
- Evaluate and implement industry best practices
- Promote products and services through customer relations
- Other tasks, duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director – Technical Services & Customer Experience/ Director of Operations
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience in the automotive, technician repair industry;
- Ability to fluently speak English & Spanish
- Exceptional emotional intelligence
- Demonstrated success in developing effective customer relationships;
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and set priorities to meet deadlines on schedule;
- Ability to influence others and work within cross-functional teams to make responsible decisions;
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and organization;
- Exceptional written, verbal and presentation communication skills
- Proficiency with relevant software applications, including: Microsoft Office Suite, iOS, iPad OS, etc.
- Possess high levels of flexibility, adaptability and creativity with respect to job functions in a dynamic fast-growing environment;
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- High School Degree or equivalent
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand long hours, walk, climb ladders, exposed to outside weather conditions, lift 50LBS;
- Ability to travel 75% of the time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
