We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Housekeeper. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests' rooms are clean, comfortable, and presentable. Your exceptional cleaning skills and attention to detail will contribute to providing a pleasant experience for our guests during their stay. Key Responsibilities:
· Clean and sanitize assigned guest rooms, including bathrooms, bedrooms, and public areas, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
· Strip beds, change linens, and make beds in accordance with established hotel standards.
· Replenish amenities such as toiletries, towels, and linens in guest rooms.
· Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
· Empty trash and replace garbage bags in guest rooms and public areas.
· Report any maintenance issues, damages, or equipment malfunctions to the housekeeping supervisor.
· Maintain the stock of cleaning supplies and inform the housekeeping supervisor when supplies need replenishing.
· Assist with laundry duties, including sorting, washing, drying, folding of linen.
· Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for both you and your guests.
· Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a courteous and timely manner, providing exceptional customer service.
Required Skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemicals, and the ability to safely handle and operate them.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs.
- Professional and courteous attitude towards guests and team members.
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
