Overview: Primary Purpose: The primary purpose of this position is to work with district and campus leaders to monitor special education staffing and ensure they are within staffing guidelines and follow established processes if adjustments are necessary to best meet student needs. This position will also assess the educational, learning styles, and program needs of students referred for special education services and work cooperatively to provide necessary training for administrative and instructional personnel in ARD process to ensure legal requirements are met.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Master's degree, principal certification preferred
Valid Texas teaching certificate
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of the ARD process, education of special education students
Professional development experience preferred
Minimum Experience:
Three years teaching experience
Two years campus administrative experience preferred
Salary: minimum 62,918- 197 days
salary based on verified experience
