Job Summary
The Letter of Credit Coordinator will be responsible for reviewing and following up on bank presentations to ensure that payments are issued promptly and correctly.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review Letters of Credit for documents required for presentation
- Comply with all requirements listed under the Letter of Credit
- Present the required documents to banks for payment
- Correspond with customers and banks for the status of documents
- Review all bank discrepancies to determine whether they are acceptable with regard to cash collection and make necessary changes if required
- Maintain L/C and discrepancy logs
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of H.S. diploma, but 2 years of college preferred
- Knowledge of Letters of Credit and Import Documents
- Minimum of 2 years’ L/C and international collections experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
