As our Baker, you will play a crucial role in crafting a delectable assortment of breads, cookies, cakes, muffins, and breakfast breads, making our deli a go-to destination for the finest baked goods in town.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a diverse selection of breads, including artisan loaves, rolls, and specialty breads.
- Skillfully craft 11 unique cookie varieties, ensuring each batch is consistent in taste, texture, and appearance.
- Create and decorate various cakes, celebrating special occasions and satisfying our customers' sweet cravings.
- Delight our patrons with scrumptious muffins and breakfast breads, maintaining our reputation for exceptional quality.
- Employ a detail-oriented approach to ensure consistently outstanding results in every baked item.
- Collaborate with the prep cook to assist with basic prep tasks and maintain a smooth workflow in the kitchen.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Baker in a commercial kitchen or bakery setting.
- Expertise in baking a wide variety of breads, cookies, cakes, muffins, and breakfast breads.
- Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring precise measurements and consistent execution.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- A passion for delivering exceptional baked goods that exceed customer expectations.
- Flexibility to work Monday to Friday, providing our customers with delicious treats throughout the week.
