Job Title: Construction Project Manager
Location: 8779 Hillcrest Road, Kansas City, MO 64138, United States
Pay Rate: $38/hr - $40/hr
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Work Type: Hybrid (3-4 days onsite per week)
Responsibilities
- Manage commercial construction and facility projects from planning through closeout, ensuring successful execution of scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
- Lead MEP-focused projects, including HVAC, electrical, roofing, and major building infrastructure upgrades.
- Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, cost estimates, and project timelines.
- Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct weekly project meetings and provide regular updates on project progress, budgets, schedules, and risks.
- Manage contractor performance, negotiate with vendors, and oversee RFPs, purchase orders, invoices, and project documentation.
- Monitor project costs, track financial performance, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Identify project risks, resolve issues proactively, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.
- Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously across Oracle facilities while maintaining excellent client communication.
- Review construction drawings, technical documents, and MEP designs to support successful project delivery.
Required Skills
- 6+ years of Construction Project Management experience within commercial buildings, facilities, or corporate real estate.
- Strong experience managing MEP infrastructure projects, including HVAC, electrical, roofing, and major building systems.
- Proven experience managing construction projects independently from initiation through closeout.
- Strong knowledge of project budgeting, estimating, cost control, and financial tracking.
- Experience coordinating general contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and vendors.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience in commercial construction, owner's representative, facilities, or corporate real estate projects is highly preferred.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment (3-4 days onsite per week) and travel locally between project sites as needed.
Pay: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour
