Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and professional Box Truck Driver to safely operate a 26' straight truck while providing exceptional white glove furniture delivery service. The driver is responsible for ensuring on-time deliveries, maintaining a safe driving record, communicating with dispatch and customers, and working closely with a delivery helper to complete each route efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 26' straight box truck.
- Complete scheduled deliveries on time.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load, secure, and transport furniture safely.
- Work with a helper to deliver items into customers' homes.
- Follow delivery instructions and obtain proof of delivery.
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service.
- Report any damages, delays, or issues immediately.
- Comply with all DOT and company safety policies.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating a 26' box truck preferred.
- Ability to lift and move heavy furniture with assistance.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
Additional Info:
- Schedule: Starting at 5:30am. Tuesday - Saturday
- Pay increase after first 90 days.
- We give an incentive bonus for every 6 months you have no accidents or safety violation.
