Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, motivated and detail-oriented Floor Technician to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our commercial facilities. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of floors, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to keep surfaces spotless and safe.
- Conduct carpet cleaning using appropriate equipment and techniques to remove stains, dirt, and allergens effectively.
- Buff and polish floors to restore shine and prolong their lifespan, ensuring a polished appearance at all times.
- Apply environmentally friendly cleaning products in accordance with safety guidelines to promote sustainability.
- Collaborate with team members to complete special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (driving required) Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and custodial best practices.
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in a commercial or healthcare setting is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques, including carpet cleaning, stripping, waxing, and buffing.
- Experience with environmental services practices that prioritize safety and sustainability.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, extractors, vacuums, and carpet cleaners effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Good physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
