Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Senior CADD Designer with experience to join our Waterway Structures team!

Set up and detail plans by analyzing sketches, notes and other input material to determine the best approach for the completion of drawings.

Work from sketches to produce computer-generated graphs, charts, overlays and isometric drawings including digital terrain models and surfaces.
- Calculate quantity takeoffs and prepare cost estimates.
- Perform high level design computations, earthwork calculations and prepare complete construction plans.
- Determine and calculate stormwater drainage areas and steep slope areas.
- Prepare concept layout plans.
- Perform grading, utility, stormwater and soil erosion/sediment control design.
- Conform to the company’s standard CADD procedures for layering, etc., and standard drawing procedures for sheet layout.
- Work with numerous project teams to help in project completion.
- Coordinate details and dimensions between drawing sheets.
- Prepare project exhibits.
- Address assignments of increased difficulty as proficiency is increased.

Minimum of Associates degree is required.

7+ years of CADD infrastructure experience is required.

Interest in waterway structures is required.

Proficiency with in AutoCAD Civil 3D Land Desktop Companion, AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoTurn and other related software is preferred.

Strong verbal and written communications skills.

Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
Compensation: $36.30 to $49.28 per hour (depending on qualifications)
