Job Summary
Plumbing, Cooling & Electrical Nerds is looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be familiar with standard HVAC installation procedures, troubleshooting, maintenance, and customer service. The right individual can look forward to a positive work environment with increased opportunities for advancement within our company. Must be able to pass a criminal background check and have a clean driving record.
Sign-On Bonus: $2,000
Responsibilities
- Locate and diagnose maintenance problems on equipment
- Conduct warranty services and perform emergency repairs quickly
- Install and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential homes
- Complete HVAC repairs and replacements to Florida HVAC code standards
- Estimate labor and material costs for jobs
- Represent the company as a professional and industry leader
- Provide 5-star customer service
- Track and stay accountable to performance metrics, with a willingness to try new approaches to improve
- Work in various weather conditions and through extreme temperatures
- Maintain an organized, clean vehicle and work site

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
- Considerable physical activity, including walking and standing for lengthy periods of time
- Lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, squatting/kneeling, crawling in tight spaces, and reaching/grasping
- Roughly equal time spent indoors and outdoors, with exposure to hot or cold temperatures for one or more hours at a time
