Compensation Base Pay of $60,000 - $65,000 with annual bonus, incentive, etc. available. Full suite of insurance, vacation and PTO. Flexible schedule amd working arrangements including remote work with a mix of in-office work available.
Role Description The Mortgage Loan Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Green Bay, Wisconsin Metropolitan Area. This role oversees the mortgage lending department, including managing loan officers and support staff, and ensuring that mortgage applications are processed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with regulations and internal policies. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and approving mortgage applications, monitoring pipeline and portfolio performance, coordinating with underwriting and closing teams, and resolving complex member and loan issues. The Mortgage Loan Manager develops and implements strategies to grow mortgage volume responsibly, builds relationships with real estate professionals and community partners, and promotes Shoreline Credit Union’s lending products and services. This position also involves setting performance goals, coaching team members, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of mortgage regulations and market trends, and contributing to process improvements and risk management initiatives.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in mortgage lending, including underwriting principles, loan processing, closing, and portfolio management.
- Proven leadership skills in managing loan teams, setting goals, providing coaching, and driving performance in a lending environment.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state mortgage regulations, secondary market guidelines, and credit union practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret financial data, assess risk, and make sound lending decisions.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with members, colleagues, real estate partners, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to organize workloads, prioritize tasks, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced, deadline-driven mortgage environment.
- Proficiency with mortgage origination systems such as Encompass.
- Relevant education such as an associate or bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience; prior experience in a credit union or community financial institution is beneficial.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
