The mission of Naomi’s House is to offer hope and healing to women who have suffered from commercial sexual exploitation, and to provide them with tools and resources to begin a new life. Position Overview: Director of Advancement
The Director of Advancement collaborates with the Executive Director and supports an advancement team to set and achieve annual and long-range fundraising goals, measuring progress throughout the year to ensure success. The DOA works closely with The Executive Director and the NH Advisory Board in all development and fundraising initiatives. The DOA leads consistently with Naomi's House's vision, mission, and culture and commits to excellence in every aspect of the operation. This role is full-time and reports to the Executive Director.

Job Responsibilities:
· Fund Development:
- Develop and lead Naomi’s House’s comprehensive fundraising strategy to achieve annual and long-term revenue goals
- Design and oversee donor acquisition, cultivation, stewardship, and retention strategies in partnership with the Director of Strategic Engagement.
- Expand Naomi’s House’s community of financial supporters by identifying new donor opportunities, audience segments, and engagement strategies.
- Manage a portfolio of major donors, cultivating increased giving, involvement, and understanding of Naomi’s House’s mission and impact.
- Identify and evaluate new tools, channels, and opportunities to connect with prospective supporters and strengthen fundraising effectiveness.
· Strategic Planning:
- Develop and oversee organizational revenue strategy with scaling funds to match programmatic needs each year.
- Partner with the Executive Director to establish annual fundraising goals, budget targets, and multi-year revenue strategies that support organizational growth.
- Develop and own the annual fundraising plan, including priorities across major gifts, annual giving, grants, corporate partnerships, planned giving, and special campaigns
- Monitor fundraising performance, analyze donor and campaign data, and adjust strategies to maximize revenue growth and long-term sustainability.
- Oversee advancement systems, reporting, and fundraising processes to ensure strong operational infrastructure and data-informed decision-making.
- Provide strategic direction for donor cultivation events and fundraising initiatives while partnering with the Director of Strategic Engagement to execute engagement plans and donor experiences.
- Contribute to the development and execution of Naomi’s House’s five-year strategic growth plan and organizational expansion efforts.
- Serve as an ambassador for Naomi’s House, communicating the mission, vision, and impact of the organization to donors, partners, churches, and community stakeholders.
· Leadership:
- Lead the development of annual advancement goals, fundraising metrics, and revenue forecasts while ensuring alignment across the Advancement and Strategic Engagement functions.
- Provide leadership and direction to the Advancement team in collaboration with the Director of Strategic Engagement, including oversight of direct reports.
- Partner with the Executive Director to support the Advisory Board in fundraising initiatives, donor engagement, and communication of advancement strategies.
- Serve on the Senior Leadership Team and contribute to the overall strategy, growth, and culture of Naomi’s House.
- Develop a deep understanding of commercial sexual exploitation, survivor recovery, and the Naomi’s House model in order to effectively communicate organizational impact and vision.
Experience and Qualifications:
· A personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ and be an active member of a church
· Strong interpersonal and writing skills
· Minimum of five years’ experience in fundraising strategy and donor cultivation, particularly major gift fundraising
· Proven ability to achieve annual revenue targets in the nonprofit sector or comparable sales role
· Possess the skills to work with and motivate staff, board members, volunteers, and donors
· Effective time management and skill prioritization in a fast-paced environment
· Project management skills and highly organized; attentive to details
· Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work enthusiastically with changing priorities or responses to emergencies
· Proficiency in various technical applications, including but not limited to Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Adobe Suite, and a donor database
· A bachelor’s degree
Compensation and Benefits:
· Annual base salary range: $95,000-$105,000
