Job Summary

Responsibilities

- Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction to optimize food costs and minimize shortages
- Develop and implement menu plans that reflect current trends, dietary needs, and customer preferences while maintaining profitability
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures to guarantee a safe dining environment for guests and staff
- Coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions with attention to detail in food presentation and service timing
- Monitor kitchen operations for efficiency, including workflow optimization, equipment maintenance, and sanitation standards
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience in a fast-paced culinary environment with a focus on team management and leadership skills
- Extensive banquet experience along with fine dining expertise that demonstrates high-quality food production and presentation skills
- Strong background in dietary department operations, catering services, restaurant management, and food service management
- Hands-on experience in inventory management, cost control, menu planning, and kitchen operations within the food industry
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and compliance standards essential for maintaining a safe kitchen environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple responsibilities such as shift scheduling, inventory control, and customer service excellence
- Prior experience working in hospitality settings that emphasize exceptional food quality and guest satisfaction
