Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all indoor and outdoor areas, including floors, restrooms, locker rooms, gyms, offices, and common spaces.
- Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold hygiene standards.
- Assist with custodial duties related to facilities maintenance and industrial cleaning projects as needed.
- Support general facilities upkeep by reporting maintenance issues and assisting with light repairs or painting tasks when required.
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to ensure a secure environment for all staff and visitors.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize cleaning schedules during peak hours or special events.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, custodial duties or related facilities maintenance roles.
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques including floor care such as buffing and waxing.
- Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, bending, and reaching.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
