Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and polishing to uphold cleanliness standards across guest rooms, hallways, and public areas.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and scrubbers with precision to maintain pristine floors and surfaces.
- Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks related to moving furniture, supplies, or equipment to support housekeeping operations.
- Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly and accurately in case of incidents or safety concerns.
- Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to hotel housekeeping management protocols and industry best practices.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding courteously to guest requests related to cleanliness or maintenance needs.
- Help Move laundry between the laundry rooms and floors.
- Help maintain cleanliness throughout the property.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or janitorial services within a hospitality setting.
- Demonstrated skills in floor cleaning, industrial cleaning, custodial work, and sanitation procedures.
- Knowledge of chemical handling protocols and familiarity with safety data sheets (SDS).
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of hygiene.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, vacuuming, and extended periods of standing or walking.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward guests and team members.
- Understanding of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols essential for maintaining a secure environment.
- Prior hotel experience or hospitality background preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
