This position offers predictable afternoon hours, steady weekly income, and a hands-on role perfect for an organized driver who values a guaranteed weekend reset.
Route & Compensation
- Dedicated Route: Knoxville, TN to Greensboro, NC (Load & reload at the same warehouse)
- Starting Pay: $1,800.00 per week
- Payment Method: Reliable direct deposit every single week
- Pay Increase: Higher pay rate after 1 year of employment based on performance, attendance, and strong work ethic
- Job Type: Full-time (1099)
Schedule & Hours
- Schedule: 5 days a week (Monday to Friday, No Weekends)
- Shift: Afternoon Shift
- Start Time: Around 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- Home Time: Home daily after every shift
Warehouse & Cargo Responsibilities
This is an active, hands-on role at the delivery facility. Once you arrive at the Greensboro, NC warehouse, you will assist with the following operations:
- Unloading: Help unload your trailer efficiently.
- Inventory Tracking: Scan all parts as they come off the trailer and parts being shipped.
- Sorting: Sort the scanned parts based on their next designated location.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on the dedicated interstate route.
- Manage and execute the loading, unloading, scanning, and sorting operations efficiently.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure total vehicle safety.
- Maintain strict FMCSA compliance and demonstrate solid knowledge of Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
Driver Requirements
- License: Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Restrictions: No restrictions on license (e.g., manual transmission proficiency required; no E-restriction).
- Compliance: Must be able to pass a standard DOT pre-employment drug test.
