Overview
The Bilingual Recruiter is responsible for identifying, attracting, and onboarding qualified talent for Staffing by Starboard's clients. This role manages the full-cycle recruitment process for temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct hire positions, with a primary focus on high-volume light industrial staffing. The Bilingual Recruiter serves as the primary point of contact for English- and Spanish-speaking applicants, ensuring an efficient, professional, and inclusive hiring experience from initial application through onboarding.
Role and Responsibilities
- Source qualified candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, community outreach, and recruiting events.
- Screen and interview applicants in both English and Spanish to assess qualifications, work history, availability, and client fit.
- Match candidates with appropriate job opportunities based on client requirements, experience, and skill set.
- Coordinate interviews with clients and communicate scheduling details to applicants.
- Guide candidates through the digital onboarding process, including completion of employment paperwork and required pre-employment documentation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date applicant records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Build and maintain an active pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future staffing needs.
- Develop relationships with candidates to improve engagement, retention, and redeployment opportunities.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and account representatives to understand staffing priorities and hiring timelines.
- Provide regular recruiting updates regarding applicant flow, open positions, and hiring progress.
- Respond promptly to candidate inquiries while providing exceptional customer service.
- Participate in recruiting events, job fairs, networking opportunities, and community outreach initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and company hiring policies.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and applicant information.
- Assist with additional recruiting, administrative, and staffing projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Fluent in both English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) year of recruiting experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based recruiting platforms.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Experience in staffing, talent acquisition, or high-volume recruiting.
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, or digital onboarding software.
- Previous experience recruiting for warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or light industrial positions preferred.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
