About the Role:
As a CBRE Health, Safety and Environment Analyst, you willassist in the management of Environmental, Health, and Safety programs relativeto a small to medium-sized market area.
This job is part of the Environment Health and Safetyfunction. They are responsible for organizational programs and procedures tosafeguard employees and surrounding communities.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist in managing HSE programs and initiatives to meetregulatory requirements and needs of client accounts.
- Gather data to support performance, compliance, concerns,and improvement to account management and market area.
- Support the process for monitoring injury, illness, andincident-related performance within the assigned account and market area.
- Assist in executing HSE plans, playbooks, and proceduresfor the assigned account or market area.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistentwith CBRE RISE values.
- Support fleet safety and compliance tasks, including assettracking, incident review, maintenance coordination, and vendor follow up.
- Produce recurring safety reports on a defined schedule.Ensure accuracy and on time delivery across safety observations, trainingcompliance, and incident metrics.
- Maintain accurate records across internal systems. Followdefined document control standards and naming structures.
- Track and follow up on assigned action items, compliancetasks, and required training to ensure timely completion. Coordinate withoperations and vendors as needed.
- Support teamwork and collaboration across internaldepartments, external partners, account teams, platforms, and vendors tocomplete tasks, share information, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevantexperience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education willbe considered.
- Certification in one of the following is preferred: Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH),Certified Hazardous Material Manager (CHMM), or Occupational Health and SafetyTechnician (OHST).
- Ability to use existing procedures to solve standardproblems.
- Experience with analyzing information and standardpractices to make judgments.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examplesinclude Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
- Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate difficultfigures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-relatedcalculations.
- This role requires the ability to sit for extendedperiods, as well as stand, walk, and remain mobile throughout the workplace,including attending meetings and moving between workspaces as needed.
- Regular use of a computer is required, including theability to view a screen for prolonged periods, and to work effectively in aflexible, unassigned workspace environment with changing locations andcollaborative settings.
Physical Requirements:The ability to:
- Remain stationary for extended periods while working at acomputer and using standard office equipment
- Frequently operate computers, phones, and other officeequipment
- Move throughout office, warehouse, manufacturing,laboratory, construction, and outdoor environments to conduct inspections,assessments, and investigations
- Walk, climb stairs, bend, reach, and navigate active workenvironments
- Occasionally lift and move materials weighing up to 50pounds
- Travel between facilities and work locations as needed
- Work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions whileconducting site visits and field assessments
