MedOp Solutions is partnering with a healthcare facility in Olympia Fields, Illinois to hire an experienced Surgical Technologist for a contract assignment within a busy Operating Room department.
This role supports surgical teams in a fast-paced perioperative environment, ensuring efficient workflow, sterile technique, and high-quality patient care throughout surgical procedures. The ideal candidate has strong OR experience, EPIC proficiency, and is comfortable participating in call rotations.

- Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields for surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons during operative cases by passing instruments and supplies
- Ensure proper handling and organization of surgical equipment and instrumentation
- Maintain sterile technique and infection prevention standards
- Assist with room turnover and procedural workflow
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia staff, and interdisciplinary teams
- Document procedural information accurately in EPIC
- Participate in required call rotation coverage
- Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room experience required
- Experience in a busy OR department required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Strong understanding of sterile technique and surgical procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Full-time schedule
- Weekend requirements as needed
- On-call participation required for all OR agency staff
- Holiday coverage as needed
- Start Date: June 8, 2026
- Credentials Due: Thursday prior to start date
