As a Human Performance Specialist, you will serve as the “face” of our organization to each individual client and be responsible for their success. Our clients have exhausted traditional medicine and are running out of hope. They are exhausted and broken down. Key Responsibilities
The Human Performance Specialist is primarily responsible for creating training programs for our clients following the Saint Bartholomew Formula. Our Team Principal will take each prospective client through their assessment. Once they join the program, your clients will be assigned to you. There is no selling involved in this position. You can focus strictly on coaching.
You will use the assessment results to design a customized training program for each client and you will be responsible for taking them through each of their weekly, sixty-minute training sessions. Additionally, you will be responsible for re-testing them following our re-testing schedule and progressing their program accordingly.
Each week, you will be asked to participate in our weekly team meeting. The first half of this meeting will be a complete review of the week and any problem-solving that is needed. The second half will be education based.
There will be some associated administrative duties such as client profile management, updating their training programs online, creating daily reports and basic facility maintenance.
Job Requirements:
— Active personal training certification required (NSCA-CSCS, ACSM, NASM, or equivalent)
— Background in exercise physiology, conditioning, or sports science strongly preferred
— Knowledge of nutrition as it relates to performance and recovery is a plus
— Experience in a clinical, sports medicine, or high-performance environment preferred
— Exceptional communicator — with clients, with colleagues, and in written form
— A genuine commitment to mastery and continuous learning
About Saint Bartholomew
Saint Bartholomew is a private luxury healthcare practice on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, specializing in chronic pain and peak performance. We work with a deliberately small and carefully selected group of clients who have found that conventional medicine and generic training programs have not served them.
Our facility is private by design. Access is controlled absolutely. There are no walk-ins or public-facing storefronts.Those who find us are referred by someone who already knows what we do. What we do, we do at the highest level available.
Our clinical model is built around four integrated systems: Posture and Breathing, Strength, Energy Production, and Central Nervous System Regulation. Every client program is designed, delivered, and refined across all four by a team of specialists who have been selected for clinical excellence and for a shared commitment to one thing above all else: Give.
Compensation and Schedule
This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Compensation is discussed individually based on experience and scope. There is a clear pathway to a full-time role for the right candidate.
