Early Childhood Intervention Specialist - Summit Preschool Program, (Woodridge Local School Location)
Term: 2026-2027 School Year
Qualifications and Possible Job Duties Include:

Bachelor's Degree in Education required

Ohio SBOE Licensure that includes preschool general education and special education (or ability to obtain) is required - if not currently dual licensed, must be eligible for supplemental or endorsement for missing element (general education or special education)

Previous experience in working with students with special needs

Successful completion of all pre-employment screenings

Alternatives to the above as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable

Work effectively with children diagnosed with special needs and behavior challenges in an alternative educational program

Provides for individual differences through an individualized educational program that is evidenced in daily planning, class activities, and assessment goals

Provide appropriate educational activities and opportunities for children with a goal of enhancing their educational, social, and emotional growth
-
Maintains effective communication and collaboration with administration, district of residence, and families concerning matters related to students in the program

All other duties as assigned
Salary: Salary schedule placement commensurate with experience and training.
