Job Description
This is an in-person role, and the applicant must be local to the Hurricane, WV area. This position supports business operations by collecting, analyzing, tracking, and reporting key company data while also assisting with basic IT support needs. The Data & IT Support Analyst will help turn raw data into useful reports, dashboards, and insights that support better decision-making. This role will also assist with troubleshooting, cybersecurity best practices, networking basics, system support, and process improvement. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, analytical, coachable, and able to work well with both technical and non-technical team members. This person must understand how to prioritize tasks based on urgency, importance, business impact, and available resources.
Key Tasks

Track key performance indicators, KPIs, and other business metrics.

Collect, clean, validate, and organize data to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Analyze trends, patterns, anomalies, and performance changes to identify useful insights.

Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations for leadership and department teams.

Support front-end dashboard design by helping make reports clear, organized, and easy to use.

Work with real-time or near real-time operational data when applicable.

Assist departments by understanding their data needs and providing useful reporting support.

Help maintain, improve, and expand existing programs, reports, dashboards, workflows, and business systems.

Use scripting, automation, formulas, or other tools to improve data accuracy and reduce repetitive work when applicable.

Assist with IT-related issues, including hardware, software, user access, system support, and general troubleshooting.

Support basic networking needs, including connectivity issues, device setup, and vendor communication when needed.

Follow cybersecurity best practices, including password security, access control, phishing awareness, safe data handling, and protection of company information.

Document recurring issues, processes, procedures, constraints, and solutions.

Identify system limitations, data quality issues, resource constraints, and competing priorities, then help recommend practical solutions.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with data.

Ability to collect, clean, validate, analyze, and explain data.

Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

Ability to create clear reports, summaries, or dashboards from raw data.

Basic understanding of IT support, troubleshooting, cybersecurity practices, and networking fundamentals.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical team members.

Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
