Job Overview
The position of extended care teacher requires:
- An ability to work well with children, which would include building relationships and redirecting behavior with kindness.
- Maintaining a safe play environment.
- Supervising effectively by walking the playground during recess.
- Ability to make decisions quickly and maintain patience.
- Maintain the assigned schedule.
- Able to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Position is from 3 PM-6 PM, Monday-Friday, with the potential to work longer days on occasion.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
