Driver
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Driver to join our team at AdviniaCare Naples. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting residents to and from appointments, shopping excursions, Life Enrichment activities, and other outings. This is a full-time position that requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Safely transport residents to and from appointments, shopping excursions, Life Enrichment activities, and other outings
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, including the interior and exterior
Ensure all passengers are safely buckled in their seats while transporting
Complete routine maintenance and upkeep tasks on vehicles as assigned
Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel purchases, and vehicle maintenance
Report accidents and incidents to proper authorities when necessary
Understand and adhere to protocol for reporting accidents and incidents to proper authorities
Maintain a safe and alert manner while working
Ensure all passengers are safely transported in accordance with safety regulations and protocols
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain a commercial driver's license (CDL)
Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to take ownership for associate's safety and the safety of the residents
Additional Requirements
Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds
