Overview:
This position is responsible for assisting the billing and medical records departments with all administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Scanning documentation to staff daily.

Input requisition information for all services.
- Insurance Verification

Pull medical records for payer audits.
- Must be tech savvy and highly organized with the ability to multitask.

Process patient and insurance credit card payments.
- Ability to work alone or with others.

Must be a quick learner and be able to utilize multiple systems.

Actively supports and complies with all components of the compliance program, including, but not limited to, completion of training and reporting of suspected violations of law and Company policy.

Maintains confidentiality of all information; abides with HIPAA and PHI guidelines at all times.

Reacts positively to change and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required

Medical Records experience preferred.

Strong data entry and clerical skills

Strong Excel skills

Medical office experience helpful

Must be self-motivated and goal-oriented
