Key responsibilities:
Develops detailed plans taking full cognisance of logistics/site/project constraints
Interfaces with Project Team, contributing to the production of the weekly progress report to the project team and understand functional obligations under form of contract.
Reviews and captures productivity to measure progress.
Communicates effectively with the client , project team and stakeholders.
Incorporates sustainable design and procurement process within integrated programmes.
Ensures health and safety through programme integration.
Establishes and oversees project work plan and deadlines.
Undertakes tasks required to full fill the requirements of the project/assignment.
Responsible for coordinating activities for team.
Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
You’ll Need To Have:
Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience working in a planning role in the construction industry (preferred).
Proven ability to develop, maintain and update project programmes, sequencing plans and recovery schedules with minimal supervision.
Proficient in scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project) with the ability to produce programme outputs and reports tailored to different stakeholders and project needs.
Demonstrated experience delivering planning and scheduling services on complex construction or built environment projects.
Good understanding of procurement strategies, project delivery methods, and standard forms of contract and their impact on project schedules.
Ability to effectively manage and respond to client and stakeholder requirements, building strong working relationships across project teams.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain programme drivers, critical path activities, risks, mitigation measures, milestones, and key project issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Understanding of schedule risk management, progress monitoring, forecasting, and performance reporting.
