About Cedar Family Care
Cedar Family Care Missouri LLC is a licensed, non-medical home care agency serving older adults and individuals who need additional support in their homes throughout the Greater St. Louis region.
We are building a team of compassionate, dependable caregivers who believe quality care should be personal, respectful, and consistent. CNA certification is a plus, but experienced Home Care Aides and caregivers are also encouraged to apply.
This is a W-2 employee position
What You’ll Do
- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other activities of daily living
- Assist with mobility, repositioning, and transfers
- Safely assist with Hoyer lift/mechanical lift transfers when required by the client’s care plan
- Provide medication reminders within the scope of non-medical care
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, dishes, and maintaining a safe living environment
- Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction
- Accompany clients to appointments or errands when assigned
- Follow individualized care plans and client preferences
- Document care provided during each visit
- Promptly report changes in a client’s condition, behavior, or needs to the appropriate supervisor
What We’re Looking For
- CNA certification or previous experience as a Home Care Aide, Personal Care Aide, or Caregiver
- Experience using a Hoyer lift or other mechanical transfer equipment preferred
- Comfortable assisting clients with mobility and transfers
- Compassionate, patient, reliable, and professional
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass required background screening
- Ability to meet Missouri Family Care Safety Registry requirements
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred, or willingness to obtain
- Ability to follow care plans and safety procedures
- Availability for assigned shifts, which may include evenings, weekends, or holidays
