Duties
- Conduct inspections and quality control checks on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure product dimensions meet specifications
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends or potential issues in product quality
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions
- Follow established procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Inventory control
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Quality Control Inspector or similar role preferred
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or deviations from specifications
- Excellent data collection and analysis skills
- Good communication skills to effectively communicate with production teams and report findings
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- ERP/MRP experience preferred
- Note: Knowledge of ISO standards and experience in a manufacturing environment are desirable.
