Air Flow Designs is currently looking for a HVAC Startup Technician to join our Residential New Construction team, an ideal candidate will need to be patient, Detail oriented, and have excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills.
To be successful in this role, Attention to detail and quality of work should be your top priority. Startup technicians will be responsible for wiring up new systems and handling refrigerants. Wiring would include but is not limited to, Thermostats, Zone boards, and Dampers.
The startup tech is the final stage of an RNC Install, you are the last person to have hands on the equipment and parts, with that should come with a level of pride and care for someone’s soon to be home. Making sure everything is clean, organized, and operating correctly for a buyer so that their new home stays cool in the Florida summers.
Position requires the following:
· Valid driver’s license and clean background check/Drug Test.
· Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, and heating.
· Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
· Valid and active EPA 608 Certification
· Have access to or ability to purchase your own tools.
· Experience in RNC and/or Startups. (Preferred)
· Experienced with Zoned Systems. (Preferred)
· Read/write English on an Intermediate-Advanced Level. (Preferred)
