Duties
- Collaborate with teachers to implement lesson plans and instructional strategies tailored to diverse student needs
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students requiring additional assistance in academic subjects or behavioral management
- Assist with classroom management, organization, and setup of instructional materials to ensure a smooth learning experience
- Support students with disabilities or special needs by implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and accommodations
- Monitor student progress and behavior, documenting observations to inform instructional adjustments and evaluations
- Facilitate positive interactions among students, promoting respectful communication and social-emotional development
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data collection, attendance tracking, and preparing educational resources
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework or certification in education or related fields is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children and adolescents in educational settings
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and students effectively
- Experience supporting diverse learner needs, including those requiring behavioral or academic interventions
- Knowledge of classroom management techniques and educational best practices
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and maintain a positive attitude under pressure
- Familiarity with educational technology platforms such as HR systems (e.g., HRIS), data entry tools, or student information systems is advantageous
