The Role
Home Managed is a growing home maintenance subscription company and we just landed a significant commercial contract — a large residential condominium development that needs professional grounds care three days a week, guaranteed. We’re building the crew to service it, and we need a Landscape Crew Lead to anchor it.
This is not a seasonal gig. When the mowing season winds down, your crew transitions to interior work at our residential flip properties and handyman support for Home Managed subscription clients. You stay on the payroll all year. So does your crew.
Guaranteed Work From Day One:
Our anchor commercial contract provides 3 guaranteed days per week at a large condo development — before you even factor in Home Managed member properties and flip site work. You won’t be chasing work. The work is already here.
What You’ll Own
- Lead a crew of 1–2 on residential and commercial landscape, maintenance, and grounds care
- Manage the condo development account — 3 days/week guaranteed, high-visibility anchor client
- Service Home Managed subscription members — lawn care, planting, power washing, seasonal cleanup
- Oversee snow removal routes and operations for members and the condo property in winter
- Transition your crew to flip property support work during slow landscape periods
- Ensure equipment is operated safely, maintained properly, and kept job-ready
- Communicate daily with management on job status, scheduling, and any client issues
- Represent the Home Managed brand professionally at every property — members judge us by how you show up
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of landscape, grounds maintenance, or lawn care experience
- Prior crew lead or supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Snow removal experience — snowblower, plow, or hand crew operations
- Valid Massachusetts driver’s license with a clean record — ability to tow a trailer required
- Basic handyman or construction skills a strong plus — or a real desire to learn on the job
- Self-motivated and organized — you manage your crew’s day without needing someone watching
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude with clients
- Bilingual English/Spanish a meaningful plus in our service area
Compensation & Benefits
- $25–$32/hr depending on experience — W-2 or 1099
