We are a local property management company that manages single-family homes and multi-family homes in the Grand Rapids, Spring Lake, Muskegon, and Kalamazoo areas. Looking for a qualified maintenance worker to perform general repairs and renovations. In order to qualify here's some skills/traits we are looking for:
- Must possess experience in: drywall repairs, electrical repairs and troubleshooting, plumbing repairs, flooring install, and construction work
- Ability to do residential repairs inside/exterior of occupied rental properties
- Ability to work alone
- This is not an entry level position and 3-5 years of experience in property maintenance is required
- Trustworthy person
- Strong work ethic
- Self-motivated and guided
- Ability to use a phone, tablet, websites, etc
- Ability to be on-time and stay focused on the task(s) assigned
- General knowledge of tools, repair methods, "handyman" type work, etc
- Ability to problem solve and offer solutions as needed
- Ability to prioritize and communicate
